Reader scan — terms

  1. One redemption per person. Your work email is your redemption code. You can only redeem once, ever. Aliases like you+book@company.com count as the same email as you@company.com.
  2. First 200 readers. After we have issued 200 reader scans, this offer closes and new submissions go to a waitlist. We may reopen it, we may not.
  3. Work-email accounts only. Personal free-email accounts are not eligible for this offer. That includes but is not limited to Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud, AOL, ProtonMail, Proton pm.me, and mail.com addresses. Use a work or business-domain email. We may decline additional freemail variants at our discretion.
  4. Domain-match rule and scan authorization. The domain you scan must match the domain of the email you redeem with. If you redeem as you@yourcompany.com, you can scan yourcompany.com and its subdomains. By submitting, you represent that you own the domain, are employed by the organization that owns it, or are otherwise authorized by the domain owner to request an external security scan. You accept responsibility for that authorization.
  5. MSP exception. If you are a managed-service provider scanning a client domain, check the MSP box and briefly confirm the client relationship. MSPs must affirm they have a current written services agreement with the client that authorizes external security testing of the named domain. You accept full responsibility for that authorization and will indemnify Oscar Six Security, LLC against claims arising from a scan you were not authorized to request.
  6. Proof of purchase required. Amazon order confirmation, Kindle receipt, or a photo of your physical copy with today's date visible. Screenshots must show the book title. We reserve the right to decline anything ambiguous. Uploaded proof is retained for the life of this offer as part of the redemption record.
  7. This offer is not tied to a review. This offer is not conditioned on, and provides no incentive for, any review of the book on Amazon or any other platform. Redemption is available whether you review the book or not, and reviewing the book (positively, negatively, or at all) has no effect on your eligibility. Please do not mention this offer in any review you choose to write.
  8. Scan itself. One Radar external-surface scan of the domain you provide, delivered to your Radar account for that email. Standard Radar scan terms apply. See Radar's terms for the actual scan T&C.
  9. We can decline. We reserve the right to decline any redemption that looks abusive, coordinated, or non-genuine. In practice this means: obviously fake receipts, mass-submitted redemptions from related domains, or attempts to scan a domain the redeemer clearly does not operate.
  10. Privacy. Email address, uploaded proof, and scan-target domain are processed to verify eligibility and deliver the scan. See our Privacy Policy for retention, deletion, and (for EU/UK readers) your GDPR/UK-GDPR rights including access and erasure. EU/UK readers: submitting this form is your consent to process the data for this purpose.
  11. No warranty; liability cap. The reader scan is provided as-is. Oscar Six Security, LLC's total liability arising from this offer is capped at the price you paid for the book.
